How do I register for school?

New students need to come in with their last report card, proof of proper shots on a Florida Shot Card, a Florida Physical and any special needs information, if there is any.  Also, 7th graders need to have Heb. B Series completed and a Tetanus booster.  The students that do not have the required shots will not be allowed in on the first day of school.  You can contact the clinic @ 296-5628 X 333 for more information.

    About the tests

    • Florida uses the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) to test students in grades 3-10.

    • The FCAT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills needed to progress through school.

    • The FCAT has 5 achievement levels for reading and math, with level 1 being the lowest and level 5 the highest. The writing test is scored on a scale of 1-6.

How often will parents get progress reports?

Paper progress reports are sent to parents with the student @ the midpoint of each 9 week grading period.
Parents should contact teachers if they don't receive this paper. Also, parents can now receive automated
e-mail progress reports from our online gradebooks.   After parents log on to the gradebooks (get more info
about how to do that here), they can put their e-mail address in the request box, specify the information they
want, then the gradebook manager, Liana Blanco, will activate the  request within 24-48hrs.  Please contact
Liana Blanco if there is a problem with activation of your request.  The automated progress report request
    form is shown below:
